These Terms of Use (Terms) govern your access to and use of spig.com.au and any related tools, including the SPIG Property Planning System (together, the Site), operated by Sovereign Property Investors Pty Ltd (ABN 52 674 531 134) (SPIG, we, us, our). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. General information only
SPIG operates a licensed buyer's agency. The Site and all content on it are provided for general information and educational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, credit, investment, tax or legal advice, and do not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Please read our Disclaimer. Before acting on anything on the Site, obtain your own independent advice from appropriately licensed professionals.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and accessing the Site from Australia. By using the Site, you confirm that this is the case.
3. Accounts and the SPIG Property Planning System
Some features of the Site, including the SPIG Property Planning System, require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information and to keep it up to date.
- Accounts are secured using multi-factor authentication (MFA). You are responsible for keeping your login details and MFA credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately at wealth@spig.com.au if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
- The Property Planning System generates projections and illustrations based on the information you input and on general assumptions. Any outputs are estimates only, are not a forecast, promise or guarantee of any outcome, and are not personal advice.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or are misused.
4. Bookings and payments
The Site lets you book and pay for paid consultations or sessions. Prices are shown on the Site and indicate whether they include or exclude GST.
Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. By making a payment, you also agree to that provider's terms. We do not store your full card details.
Cancellations and rescheduling: sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice; fees are otherwise non-refundable. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. The Sovereign Guarantee
Where you engage SPIG for eligible residential buyer's agency services, we stand behind our work through the Sovereign Guarantee.
Subject to the eligibility and conditions set out in your service agreement, if SPIG does not secure a property meeting your agreed brief within the agreed period, SPIG will continue working with you at no further professional fee until the agreed milestone is met.
The Sovereign Guarantee is a commitment of continued service only. It is not a refund or money-back guarantee, and it is not a guarantee of any financial return, income, capital growth, rental yield, or that any property will achieve any particular result. Property investment involves risk and individual results vary.

6. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, the SPIG name and marks, tools, frameworks and materials — is owned by or licensed to SPIG and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may access and use it for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our prior written permission.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site. In particular, you must not: breach any law; access any part of the Site without authorisation; scrape, harvest or data-mine the Site; introduce malicious code; interfere with the Site's operation or security; or use the Site to send unsolicited communications.
8. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services. We provide these for convenience only and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties that are not expressly set out in these Terms, and we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Site or its content (including any Property Planning System outputs).
Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability is limited, at our option and to the extent permitted by law, to re-supplying the relevant services or paying the cost of having them re-supplied. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
10. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify SPIG against any claims, losses, liabilities and costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.
11. Privacy
Our handling of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on the Site at the time you use it applies to that use. Please check periodically.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
